Plant Studies 7 - Fireweed

Chamerion angustifolium
Fireweed or Willowherb in english.
In swedish: Mjölkört (milkherb) or Rallarros (rail worker Rose).
In norwegian: Geitrams (goat with bear claws?)
According to wikipedia, the whole plant is edible and full of vitamin C.
As a child I used to pick Almeck (local name) and feed it to the pigs. They ate it like crazy, so it must be good and healthy for humans too...
The cottage was once home to a famous Swedish poet and songwriter.
